Leadership and Management Development Programme
ILM Endorsed Insurance Management and Leadership accredited training programme is a flexible and practical approach to gaining an external validation and recognition through a premier awarding body. You will receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the programme and 12 months' free student membership of the ILM. These awards offer an excellent introduction to the ILM standards without compromising the quality of content or delivery.

This modular programme is aimed at existing managers with no previous management development experience, those new to management and those aspiring to be managers.

Structure
- Manageable time commitment of:
- One module per month off site training and learning
- In total, six days of face to face training, spread over a six-month period
- Each training day equips delegates with a range of practical skills and techniques to use immediately in their workplace
- As the course progresses, training days include time for a review of, and reflection on how, tools and techniques have worked in practice

Module 2: Insurance management essentials
Module 3: Coaching skills for motivation and performance
Module 4: Building and maintaining effective insurance teams
Module 5: Dealing with difficult situations and conflict
Module 6: Consolidating learning and personal impact
Verification
As part of the verification process at the conclusion to the course, delegates typically complete an end of programme Reflective Review of their learning journey which demonstrates their understanding of management and leadership, the learning they have gained throughout the programme and their on-going professional development.
Membership of the Institute of Leadership & Management
On successfully completing the course, delegates will receive a certificate of achievement from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM). As the foremost awarding body for leadership and management qualifications, ILM is uniquely placed to evaluate and endorse training schemes.
In addition, on commencement of the course, delegates are entitled to free membership of ILM for six months. This includes access to:
